For a Dream

Short Film

  • Purpose of the project: Personal.
  • Objective: Based on my experience as an international student in Canada, I wanted to create a piece to share my thoughts, to portray some of the least discussed obstacles that immigrants face when they leave home to pursue their dreams overseas. This is a tribute to all those hard working and resilient human beings who continue fighting for their dreams.
  • Your role: Writer, Director, Post-production, Sound Mixer, Colourist.

Spirit Winds Ranch

Promotional Video

  • Purpose of the project: Create a cinematic, documentary-style video to introduce the Spirit Winds Ranch non-profit, and attract new visitors, volunteers and donors.
  • Objective: This video was made as part of a large scale college project. My team and I redesigned their website, social media, and in addition, I created a series of videos to be shared on their site, as well as on their social media. This is the main one, where I wanted to create an emotional atmosphere that portrayed the soul of the place to connect with visitors.

Julie's Nail Salon

  • Purpose of the project: Create an introductory video to present a new nail salon in town: Julie’s Nails
  • Objective: This video was made in addition to a branding strategy, logo and brand standards I designed as part of a college project.
  • Your role: Direction, post-production, colour correction, sound effects and music.

Bodega Restaurant

  • Purpose of the project: Create a short documentary.
  • Objective: Bring attention to an individual’s story. In this case: the story of Jesus Camarena, a restaurant owner and pilot.
  • Your role: Direction, post-production, colour correction, sound effects and music.

  • Purpose of the project: Create a video using different lighting techniques.
  • Objective: Create an atmosphere and mood through the use of various light sources and techniques while keeping smooth transitions and flow.
  • Your role: Direction, post-production, colour correction.
